I think anyone who's benefited from Shawn's scholarship, his thoughtfulness, his capacity to connect his experience with broader theoretical and historical reflection, will acknowledge how valuable his involvement in any anarchist activity or event really is. I hope we can find a way to persuade him to change his mind–and, in any case, to maintain a fruitful relationship with him.

I have personally learned a great deal from Shawn and am sad to see him leave. Like Gary I hope he reconsiders.

Same here. Shawn's of enormous value to C4SS–and aside from that, he's forgotten more about the history of individualist anarchism than I know.
